Summer Reading List Linky

It's 2AM here and I am wide awake for no reason, so what better time to link up with Funky in Fourth's summer read linky!

I have already started Guided Math (2 chapters left!). I am in love, and I just don't know why I hadn't heard of this sooner. It just makes sense. I can not wait until next school year to implement!

I haven't started Notice and Note but I am very excited to get more knowledge about close reading. I started trying close reading at the end of this year, but I know I can do so much better!

My grade level texts/young adult novels are what I enjoy reading for fun. I am very lucky to live near a Scholastic Warehouse and went to their big sale a few weeks ago. I spent way too much money but I got a TON of books, cheap.

  1. Looks like you have a lot of great reading to get done over the summer. Notice and Note should have been another one on my list. I just haven't ordered a copy yet... oops. :) Thanks for taking the time to link-up!!

  2. I am looking forward to reading Notice and Note as well! And Guided Math really helped me get some great things going in my classroom this past year. I also LOVED the Hunger Games series...looks like you have some great stuff to read!! Enjoy!
